Health Challenge Support
Need help with Health Challenge? Email support@healthchallenge.app and a person will get back to you, usually within two business days.
When you write, it helps to include your device and OS version (for example "iPhone 14, iOS 18.5"), the name of your challenge, and — for anything that looks like a bug — what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
Common questions
How does scoring work?
Everything you enter scores immediately — there is no submit step. Each challenge runs two separate competitions: one for daily habits and one for weight loss, with no combined total. Your organizer chooses the challenge length, which habits count, what each is worth, and which weeks score double. See the privacy policy for where each entry is stored.
Who can see my weight?
Only you and your challenge's organizer can see your exact weigh-in numbers. Other participants only ever see points, never pounds or kilograms, and a notification never contains a weight.
A day I logged isn't counting
A day can be edited freely during that calendar day, or during the following day at a points penalty. After that it is locked and no longer counts toward your score. Deadlines follow the time zone set on your challenge.
I'm not getting notifications
Check that notifications are enabled for Health Challenge in your device settings, and that the categories you want are still on under You → Settings → Notifications in the app. The app also holds reminders back for a few hours after you've just used it.
How do I change my name, time zone, or weight unit?
Open the You tab and edit your profile. A name change updates everywhere in your challenge within a few seconds.
How do I join or leave a challenge?
Join with the code your organizer shares with you. To leave, open the challenge and choose to leave it from the menu — your entries are removed from that challenge's leaderboards.
How do I export or delete my data?
You → Settings → Account → Export my data returns everything the app holds about you. To delete your account and everything in it, see Delete your account.
Reporting someone
If another participant is harassing you or breaking the rules, open your conversation with them and use the menu in the top corner to Report or Block — or long-press one of their messages and choose Report. A block is immediate and mutual, and blocked people can be managed under You → Settings → Account → Blocked people. Reports are reviewed at support@healthchallenge.app. What is and isn't allowed is set out in the community guidelines.
